After reviewing our accounts and determining our budget for next year, we have been forced, regrettably, to make some changes to the cost of McNair’s Mini School. Due to the rising cost of going on our out-trips we need to increase the total of our Mini School Fees from $1050/year to $1100/year. This increase in fees is due to rising transportation, food, and accommodation costs of our out-trips. As a program, we cannot afford to run a deficit and it is necessary to increase our fees in order to ensure the same quality of programming previous years have enjoyed.
This increase will not be reflected until the February fee statement (it will not appear on the September fee statement). Although there will not be any fundraising organized directly by the school, there has typically been at least one parent organized fundraiser each year that helps to off-set some of the cost of these fees.
