Today’s entry comes from the writing prompt “Why I write”. Students took five minutes to pen their thoughts on paper, and the results were genuine and heartfelt:
I write because writing is a form of expression. It helps rid the bottomless and empty feelings or simply just to share and express your joy. It can be this extravagant piece of art that can manipulate others’ emotions into something real. Writing can be a safe haven with no limitations whatsoever. It can be a reprieve from all of the stress and worries that are associated with life. I write to better understand myself and accept all of my vast complexities.
