The Mini School Potluck is just three weeks away! The Mini 11 class, hosts of this holiday potluck, invites all parents, students, and family members to partake in this annual tradition.
While we’re getting ready with preparations, we need your help in bringing the food! Please see below for more information:
Mini School’s Potluck event returns! The annual Potluck, organized by the Mini 11s, is scheduled from 6:30-9:00 PM in the McNair Large Gym on Wednesday, December 7th. Please save the date!
The event is a gathering for all Mini School students and their families (siblings, parents, guardians, grandparents, etc.) as we partake in a shared meal and watch our students perform. More importantly, it acts as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army: Harbour Light.

As travel may be subject to delays, parents/guardians are advised to refrain from calling the school for trip updates.
Please make arrangements to have students call/text home when leaving from Duke Point, allowing parents/guardians 1.5 hours to be ready for pickup at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

Greetings parents!
We will be having the Mini School Grad farewell this Thursday, June 16th in the theatre. Because we are able to host an in-person celebration to honour the 12s, we have invited ALL Mini students to the event. We are happy to provide a glimpse into future celebrations for the younger Mini students so they can see what they will be looking forward to in the years to come.
With all of the grades attending, we unfortunately cannot accommodate parent attendance this year as we are beyond theatre capacity. At the end of the event, the 12s will be given the opportunity to stay behind and take pictures–including a group picture–so you can see the 12s all together.
I know the younger grades are looking forward to seeing this milestone celebration.

This year’s orientation meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8th from 7:00-8:00 PM in the McNair library. Please note that there will be no online option this year. If possible, please bring your child to the meeting so that they can become acquainted with each other.
If you have not already sent Mr. Young the Strathcona forms, then please email them to him or bring them to the meeting. We will also have hard copies of these forms for you to fill out at the meeting for your convenience. These forms include:

Photos are up for the grade 8 and 12 spring trips! This year, field trips were limited to one day per school district policy surrounding the pandemic. Mini School staff is proud to offer our students an opportunity to learn outdoors. See the trip photos page for more!
